Cosmetic dentistry, done naturally.

Cosmetic dentistry changes how your smile looks. If gaps, chips, uneven or misshapen teeth, slightly crowded teeth or stains make you hold back your smile, there is probably a good way to address it.

It is different from restorative dentistry, which repairs damaged or missing teeth to restore your bite. In practice the two overlap often, and we plan them together so the result looks natural and also holds up when you chew.

Dental bonding

Tooth-colored resin applied directly to the tooth, then sculpted and polished to repair chips and close small gaps. It is quick, conservative and versatile.
Shaping and contouring

Sometimes called enameloplasty. A thin layer of enamel is smoothed from pointed, uneven or slightly chipped teeth for a more even look.

Gum contouring Gums can be reshaped for a more balanced smile line when the gum edges are uneven.
Crowns

When a tooth is heavily filled, cracked or weak, a crown restores its strength and appearance.

Consultation and exam
We listen to what you want to change, examine your teeth and gums, and take the images we need.
Virtual smile design
Before any tooth is prepared, digital imaging builds a preview of your new smile. You see the proposed result, talk it through with Dr. Kwon, and ask for changes while they are still easy to make. The preview is a planning tool, not a guarantee. It helps you and your dentist agree on the goal first.
A written plan
You get a clear plan, the order of treatment, and an estimate. See insurance and financing for how costs are handled.
Treatment
Care is done with local anesthesia where needed, and we tell you what is happening at each step. Our team uses shade matching and precise imaging so restorations blend with your natural teeth.
Follow-up
We check the result and keep seeing you, so the work lasts.

Smile makeovers

One plan for the whole smile.

A smile makeover brings shape, color, proportion and function together in a single plan. It may combine veneers, crowns, whitening, bonding and restorative work, designed as one result rather than one tooth at a time, so the new smile is as strong as it is beautiful. What is cosmetic dentistry?

It is dental care focused on how your smile looks: the shape, color, size and alignment of your teeth. Common treatments include whitening, bonding, veneers and clear aligners.

Are cosmetic treatments permanent?

It depends on the treatment. Whitening fades over time and can be refreshed. Veneers, bonding and crowns are long-term restorations that often last many years with good care, but they may eventually need repair or replacement.

Do cosmetic procedures hurt?

Most are comfortable. We use local anesthesia when it is needed and explain each step beforehand. Whitening can cause temporary sensitivity, which we can manage.

How long does treatment take?

Whitening and bonding can often be done in a visit or two. Veneers, crowns and full makeovers take several visits because the pieces are made to fit you. Your exam will give you a realistic timeline.

Are results guaranteed?

No treatment can promise a specific outcome. A digital preview and a careful plan help us agree on the goal, and an exam decides what is right for your teeth.
